The Great Hall

This rooms includes:

Two working fireplaces, two windows and entrance door to one side, stairs to Billiard Room and Toilet, Door to Lounge.

A large sideboard and round table with chairs can be kept in or removed, depending on how you would like to use the space. When set for a ceremony it can fit four chairs on each side of the aisle and up to 7 rows back. These chairs can be taken from upstairs and replaced with the help of your wedding team after the ceremony.

The Billiard Room

This room includes:

Seven round tables (6 x 5ft round tables, 1 x 6ft round table), 6x trestle tables, 50 chairs (dark wood with ivory padding), working fireplace.

The double doors open to a small patio which can be accessed via steps from the ground floor garden area. Up from that patio is another space perfect for photos or access along to further garden spaces.

There isnt attachments for hanging lights but there are a couple of ornamental chandeliers. The venue does own a few candlesticks which we can dicuss the use of. Each table has a white linen cloth but there are no replacements and a limited number of linen napkins. We can recommend some supplier to hire your own (even in a colour!).

The Garden Room

Opening on the patio, this space can include:

Sofas for approx eight guests, a table with six seats and then outdoor seating for approx 10 people.

The doors and windows open to bring the outside in. We recommend using the doorway to the back dining space as the bar ‘hatch’. This room can be access from the front garden as well as the patio and Lounge.

The Porch Room

King-size bed, bathroom with over-bath shower, sitting area, Included: Complementary mini-bar (champagne, wines, soft drinks), fruit,

luxurious bedlinens, all bathroom linens and toiletries, informal flowers, complementary tea, coffee, sugar, sweeteners, fresh milk and homemade biscuits, our spring water & Wi-Fi.

The Guest Room

The Guest Room has a king-size bed with a mattress made just a few miles away with silk, cashmere and local wool, ensuite Art-Deco-style bathroom with over-bath shower, hair drier and lit magnifying mirror, a sitting area with a tiny fridge and drink-making supplies, views to the front of the house over the gardens.

The Front Garden

This space features an ornamental pond with water feature to one side. On the other side of the main entrance path is decorative hedging and another water feature. The main path goes left towards to the patio space or right to the steps for the Billiard Room’s patio.

The Bottom Garden

This is underway and will feature for 2023:

Duck pond with island, waterfall into pond, path and seating around the water, terrace with seating and decorative items and planting.
